Here is a short code sample on how to send the results of a stored procedure into a table.

Code Snippet
  1. create table #tax (taxamnt numeric(19,5) )
  2. select * from #tax
  3. insert into #tax exec _4P_CalculateItemTax 'baldwin','davidsbrick~~',3,.037,'each','13498'
  4. select * from #tax
